Car Trip from Vienna to Munich to Prague and back to Vienna

Hello,

I will be hiring a car in March and driving from Vienna to Munich, then Munich to Prague then back to Vienna.

Can someone advise how much the tolls will be on this trip?

And any other tips for this trip.

For the Austrian autobahns the toll decal comes in different denominations, based on the length of time you plan to drive on the autobahns. As I recall, the shortest period is 10 days and costs less than $10. However, if you pick up the car in Austriua, it may come with a decal from a previous owner that still has some time left.

The last time I had to buy a decal fort he Czech autobahns it was about $30, good for the whole year.

On your way from Munich to Prague, take the route through Cesky Krumlov. Munich - Salzburg - Linz, north to the Czech border and on to Cesky Krumlov. Stay overnight. From there to Cesky Budoviche (Sp?)( Budweis) and Prague.
