Everywhere looks so lovely, where should I stay!?

I%26#39;m really keen to visit Austria, I%26#39;ve never been before. Looking through the brochures everywhere looks beautiful and I can%26#39;t choose where to stay!

I am keen on walking and cycling (although am not particularly fit so the more gentle routes would be most suitable!) I also have a tendancy to get bored easily and like to %26quot;do stuff%26quot; on holiday. A lot of companies seem to throw in walks and bike hire which seemed like a good idea to me.

I was thinking about staying for 7 days in one area and 7 in another. I%26#39;m looking more at the lakes and mountains compared to staying in city locations.

Any advice greatly apreciated.

Hi jc

Have you thought about cycling around Lake Konstanz (Bodensee) for a week. You get to cycle on the flat, or veer off onto tougher routes up hill, through Germany, Austria %26amp; Switzerland. Normally takes about 4 days leisurely, but a week would give you plenty of time to see other sights! Just a thought.
