I made a reservation at Hotel Friesacher in Anif a couple of months ago for our trip in early May. They did respond, and I was happy with my decision. However, now, their website has suddenly lost the English version, and every e-mail i send bounces back.
Does anyone know their status? Maybe they are just working on a new website, but I%26#39;m still a little worried.
I know I can call...usually avoid that when I don%26#39;t know their language options.

I wouldn%26#39;t panic. This is the time of year when websites are updated. We stay in Aigen and our hotel is doing just that at the moment. Our hotel also closes for the whole of February while the family goes skiing :-) If you%26#39;re really worried you could ring and ask if they speak English (they surely will). You could always think of some excuse for ringing, explaining you will be visiting in May, such as asking if they can make bookings for excursions, or how close the hotel is to the bus route. I%26#39;m sure there%26#39;ll be no problem. You%26#39;ve certainly chosen a fantastic hotel in a great location.

I do not believe that you have any worries.
The Friesacher has been in business for many years- renovated not long ago.
Some of the best restaurants in Salzburg in my opinion. I last stayed there about a year ago. Nice pool also.
Hotel is highly regarded and to me a good choice.
If you drive to this hotel- a nice private garage under hotel for guests with lifts to each wing .
Bus to city center is nearby ( #25 perhaps?)
Their german website is operating - nothing on it to indicate any closing.
Perhaps as prior posts notes- the site is just down for a period.

the Hotel Friesacher is open. I live here in Salzburg and I have not heard anything about it being closed.
