overnight train to paris

Good day- we%26#39;d love to take the overnight train from Vienna to Paris in 19 May. We are a couple, one senior, looking for First Class Double sleeper. The Price I was quoted for 2 was $ 1072 US, which seems quite high. With a Pass, it was $ 236, but the Pass costs us $ 688 for two. Help!

Can anyone comment if they have taken this trip and the price they paid? I was told these night trains book up fast and I cannot book until 60 days out, but even trying the OBB site for a march Sat night, I run into German and cannot proceed even to price it.

Many thanks for your help and advice, I wish my husband%26#39;s decades- old German could save us but not today!

As far as I can see, the Night Train Wien-Paris won%26#39;t run on Sat. 19 May. It will only go to Strasbourg, where you have to change to an TGV to Paris. But it seems that there will be a small change in the french timetable before May, so it might happen that the trains runs to Paris.

It will definately run thru to Paris one day before and after...

Just have a look at the online timetable:

1072 USD? really? That%26#39;s toooooooooo much!
