bringing skis and boots tp Innsbruck

Should we bring our own skis and boots to Innsbruck? Is it possible to take buses there with the boots on and having skis in our hands?

If you want... but you can as well rent good equipment for about 30 Eur/day

That%26#39;s how many people do it. However if you stay in central Innsbruck and take the tram to, say, Fulpmes you will have quite a walk at the end. But I think there are some dedicated ski buses as well.

In small skiing towns this is the standard.
