Berlin to Prague to Vienna

I need the advice of your local experts and anyone else that might have taken a trip like this. I have 3 college students that would like to spend their Spring Break, the beginning of March, traveling for 10 days. They thought the above cities would be wonderful to see for 3 nights each. One will be flying in from the United States. Two will be traveling back and forth from Florence. I would like to make their trip as easy and comfortable as possible without costing a fortune. I seem to get lost on the web-pages for train travel. And I would welcome any suggestions for hotels in Vienna or either of the other two cities that are 1. safe 2. clean 3. very well located 4. with private bathrooms - costing about US$150/night total for the three girls.

Does this trip sound reasonable and workable? Will train travel between the 3 cities be difficult for them?

I thank you all in advance for any suggestions or assistance.

Train travel between these cities is easy and efficient!

Berlin-Praha: fast EC (EuroCity) trains every 2 hours, travel time is 4:35 from city center to city center.

From Prague to Vienna it%26#39;s between 4h and 4:30. There are also very comfortable EC trains, but even the brand new czech SC (SuperCity) pendolino trains...

Single fare Berlin-Prague will be € 55,80, but you can also try to get the 29 or 39 € offers if you know which train you want to take.

www.bahn.de --%26gt; Internat. Guests

Prague to Vienna will be about the same, there are no offers, so the best might be to buy at the station. Timetables can be found at www.bahn.de (german railways), www.cd.cz (czech railways) or www.oebb.at (austrian railways).
