Aspern here is best known for a famous battle.

Napoleon had already occupied Vienna and shortly after tried to cross the Danube to drive east and north .

The battle is famous as Napoleon was defeated in Aspern- the first time to my knowledge by the austrian army led by a brother to the Emperor Franz of Austria.. The battle occured in May 1809.

I do not think much has happened to create much news there since then to my knowledge.

Aspern , then was it own town. Since then Vienna has really grown to this area.

It is about 40.-45 minuets by U-bahn , streetcar or bus from the city center.

From the center take U-bahn U-1 to Kagran then to streetcar 26 or bus 26A

The U-bahn ( subway) line U-2 is now being extended to close to this area and will make transfer time much less - perhaps it is complete in 2-3 years.

Vienna is a city of museums- hundreds all seem to be able to exist- I do not know of any airfilm ones.

Vienna has a superb public transport system. It is clean, safe and quickly takes you most anywhere in the city at a cheap price.

The Vienna Airport is connected to the city by convenient bus, train and high speed dedicated train service.

Some airlines have city center check-in facilities also.

A new and large addition to the airport is now under construction.

Flights to many international destinations with frequent service.

Vienna serves as a hub to many eastern european countries too.

Many direct flights to various Asian and Middle East cities also.

I would contact the closest Austrian Embaasy for demographic information.

They will confirm a very high standard of living here.

Vienna has a population of 1.5- 1.6 million people.

It was rated the 4th best city to live in in the worlydin 2006 by Mercer Surveys.

It is also rated the #1 capital city of the EU.

It has an active and growing Sock market with a high growth rate that confirms the excelent statues of the economy.

Behavior- I assume you mean crime- it is a very safe city. I think 15 +- murders last year if that is a benchmark.
