family of 4 (kids 10%26amp;15) will be in salzburg on december 31st.
are there some kind of outdoor festivities that would be enjoyed by all?

There will be an amazing firework display late evening. We watched it last year on the webcams.

Like Liz says, the Silvester(New Years Eve) fireworks in Austria re spectacular.

We will also be in Salzburg this NYE, (2 kids aged 11 and 13). Does anyone know whether coffee shops and casual restaurants will be open-don%26#39;t particularly fancy a 7 course gala dinner with the kids!
