Salt Mines Salzburg

I%26#39;m rather confused there seems to be a number of salt mines in Salzburg - I rather fancy the one with the boat trips.

I am familiar with Berchtesgaden, which is close to Salzburg and does have the boat. Hallein is also close by and I I would think they are both similar. We enjoyed it very much and are glad we took the tour.

wewent to the ones near Halstat A trip to halsta alone is well worth the trip with or without the salt mines

I believe the Berchtesgaden salt mine is the one with the boat trip. It would be a more scenic trip than Hallein.
