Cheap Accommodation

Can you recommend a hotel or pension in central Vienna with an en-suite single room for around €40 to €50 per night for 27 May 2007 to 1 June 2007?

You%26#39;re not likely to get a *central* ensuite-single for that price in the high season (early summer).

Have a look at

You can get that price in one of the outlying districts - or get a cheaper central room with a shared bathroom.

The cheapest centrally-located place I know is Pension City (http://www.citypension.at/en/index.html) with singles for 60 euro. The location is excellent, just around the corner from Stephansdom, but some of the rooms have tricky plumbing so though I%26#39;ve stayed there a couple of times, I would prefer to shell out a bit more and stay at the reliable Pension Christina (www.pertschy.com singles 76 euro).

Look at this alternative for cheap accomodations - several in good locations near to sights and / or public transport

The reviews give good indication of quality which varies greatly.
