Hotel Bayrischer Hof, Stieglbrau or Cordial

Hi,

Wondered if anyone has any feedback on the above hotels. Need to get one booked for January!! We are a couple in our early thirties. Not looking to party, enjoy the quiet life.

These are the three we have narrowed it to for price. Any other suggestions welcome.

I haven%26#39;t stayed at any of these hotels, but of the three I would choose the Stieglbrau as having the most convenient location - within walking distance both of town and the main railway station, and on well-served bus routes to both too (worth using the buses in January!) It%26#39;s also close to the Mirabellplatz bus station where the ski shuttle departs, if that%26#39;s of any interest to you.

The Bayrischer Hof is up by the railway station which is quite a distance from the main sites and the area is a bit down at heel. The Cordial is about the same distance from town as the Stieglbrau and would be my second choice, only because the buses along the Schallmooser Haupstr. are less frequent than on the Rainerstr. The Schallmooser runs into Linzergasse which has some nice shops and restaurants. But in January with possible snowstorms my first consideration would be ease of transport!

Went with Hotel Stieglbrau, managed to pick up a bargain through Hotel Club. Can%26#39;t wait.........
