St Wolfgang Wedding February

We are planning on getting married in St Wolfgang in Feb 2008, my only concern is that because we can only have a morning wedding, there will not be a lot for the guests to do between the ceremony in the morning and the evening meal.

Someone told me that there are boats that you can take guests out on for canapes and champagne, but I can%26#39;t find any info about this. Also any other suggestions for afternoon activities will be gratefully accepted!

The Austrian Rail service runs some of the boats on Wolfgangsee and also the train up the local viewpoint. These might suit different guests ! See www.oebb.at (and select the English button), check Mulitmap for the destination names. There are other boats from the promenade at the north end of the town. Also there is an amount of level walking along the lake side for the less adventurous, we got about half a mile to the south.

Searching for St Wolfgang boat led me to find

wolfgangsee.at/alias/…sommerwelt

for starters. This gives the names, e.g. St Gilgen and the Schafberg are the destinations on oebb.

There are also balloon rides, and www.wolfgangseeschifffahrt.at for boats on the lake, etc.
