Vienna in January

Hi all,

I%26#39;m traveling to Vienna, to Europe for the first time, sort of on a last minute vacation or whim =) I wanted to know about the balls, any information would be great. Do tourists go for fun?

basically it depends, when you´ll come, as most of the %26quot;balls%26quot; are during the season, which ends mid of Feb.

click on events

then insert the dates you will be in Vienna and request balls and galas-

these events will be listed by date.

Info about ticket purchase included.

Hundreds of Balls during the season- usually New years- thru Ash Wednesday-

Numerous tourists attend- some of the Balls , especially those well known check dress codes as they vary greatly.
