We are traveling with two children (6 %26amp; 10) beginning skiers. We are looking for family friendly resort with ski school/ lifts within reasonable distance from accommodations (no long rides to the first lift) so it will be easy to transport kids %26amp; equipment. Ideally we%26#39;d fly into Munich so someplace within a couple of hours of Munich/Innsbruck. Will be going end of Feb - beginning of March. It%26#39;s our first time skiing in Austria and with the lack of snow now, we are concerned about slopes having snow for the kids to learn on.
Any help finding a place/destination would be appreciated.

I have two children 7%26amp;9 I think I know what your problems will be as Ive taken my children since they were first born and now think I have become an expert!!! in ild friendly ski holidays. Two resorts Ica reccomend. Niederau and Filzmoos, the first is probibly a smaller resort We have stayed there three times. The Hotel Sonnschine is very good the walk to the lifts a s school is not far for carryig 3 sets of skis, The hotel Austria is closer but Ive never stopped thereboth have swimming pools, The Alpenrose I think thats the name is right at the ski school and lift its where lots of people just stay for lunch but it does not have a pool, ideal to finish the children off befoe dinner and bed
Filzmoos is a place we are visiting for the 3rd time this year a small village. We are stay at the unterhof a good location and it has a pool another hotel is the haapy filzmoos try these links Your children will have a ball www.unterhof.at
