While searching for a hotel in Salzburg I found that yeego.com offered a rate of 187 for a double room in Goldener Hirsch, which seemed to me rather strange as all other sites quoted %26quot;no availability%26quot;. I called the Goldener Hirsch hotel and they told me that they don%26#39;t know yeego.com and in any case they are fully booked for Christmas (I called in early September!!!).
Despite the above, I decided to book through yeego.com 2 double rooms in Goldener Hirsch, which according to the above site were %26quot;available%26quot;. The status of my order remained %26quot;pending%26quot; for several days but having read other tripadvisor reviews I thought that this was a usual yeego.com %26quot;practice%26quot;. Some days later I emailed them and they replied that they are doing their best to confirm my booking. Finally (and after one more email-message to the administrator) of mine they replied that they are not able to confirm my booking. I have not yet received my credit card statement but I don%26#39;t think there will be a problem.
Based on the above, I don%26#39;t believe yeego.com is a scam (as other tripadvisor members suggest) but definately they don%26#39;t offer %26quot;online booking%26quot;...

Following the above, I sent an email to Sheraton Salzburg Hotel and based on the Starwood Best Rate Guarantee I claimed the exact rate offered by yeego.com (152 including breakfast). They kindly accepted my request and honoured the above rate. Given that the rack rate in Sheraton Salzburg during the above period is 214 Euros (no breakfast included!!!) it is fair to say that at last yeego.com proved to be useful !!!!

Similar thing happened to us as with Elena. We booked a room at the Hotel Stieglbraeu during the Mozart Festival in August using Yeego...even though the other sites (bookings, hrs, hotels.com) had the hotel listed as full. Our reservation was %26#39;pending%26#39; and reps from Yeego let us know that the hotel was full and asked if we wanted another comparable hotel. We asked for them to continue to try, and 2 days later, they told us that we got the reservation (someone else cancelled).
We booked 3 other hotel through Yeego and have been pleased with our reservations. If I travel back to Europe, I will use Yeego again. Really good prices. I%26#39;ve read, however, they might be unreasonable about their refund policy.
Good luck.

Thank you for your opinions on Yeego.com and we are happy that we could assist you with your bookings. We are working with distinguished partners in destination countries, so we have the best rates available with best conditions. Comparing to other online booking systems, Yeego.com has a benefit in cancellation policy as well. On other websites your credit card is charged immediately and you would have no refund for your cancellations, however according to Yeego.com’s policy, unless otherwise stated, as the benefit of our cancellation policy, for reservations cancelled 15 or more working days prior to arrival, clients get a full refund. For cancellations made between 5 and 14 days prior to the arrival date, a penalty charge equivalent to 15.-Eur is incurred. Any cancellations made in less than 5 days prior to arrival incurs a cost of 1 night%26#39;s accommodation only-which still is an advantage if you compare it to paying for all nights you might have cancelled. In case you do not show up at the hotel, then the hotel might charge a fee equivalent to 100 % of total accommodation and this depends on the hotel%26#39;s no show policy.

I also contacted the Sheraton and asked them if they would match Yeego price but they emailed back to deny the request as they said the Yeego deal included breakfast so it wasnt a fair comparison, I%26#39;m still a little wary as their prices seem so low, has anyone stayed at the Sheraton through Yeego recently?
|||
Nusha, I got the same reply following a request through the claim form of Starwood website. It%26#39;s a silly excuse as the Yeego price not only is lower but also includes breakfast!!!
Anyway, ignore them and contact directly the reservations department of the hotel. Given that it is now relatively late (the price has already raised up to 290 Euros) I am not sure if it works, but it worked for me in early September.
Good luck!

Yeego is definitively not a scam !We just came back from Salzburg where we had booked two rooms through yeego.com and everything were impecamble, great prices and rooms.They were after all very reliable and responded to every change we made, also answering to every mail we were sending immediately.I also checked credit card%26#39;s charge and was o.k. We would recommend it to friends and of course we will use it again
