car hire

Hi Vertical and you other kind folks who have given us such useful information on Seefeld and local areas.

We were wondering if it would be a good idea to hire a car to get around and see more?

Our first plan was to just stay in Seefeld do some walks, chill out and maybe the train into Innsbruck but sems there is lots to see but with snow around would it be a good idea to have a car?

A car in Seefeld is not essential- but for a few days can really help if you plan to make several excusions. More convenient than trains- you potential problem is (hopefully) snow.

The road from Seefeld to Innsbruck and the Inn Valley in the first few Kilometers is very steep and can be icy when snow first begins and snow removsal has not begun.

The Seefeld train station is an easy short walk from most places in town- frequent service to Innsbruck and Germany,
