biking????

Has anyone done any biking while in Salzburg?? Can you rent bikes and are there bike trails?

Do you mean mountain biking or tootling round the city? If you mean mountain biking there are hundreds of trails around the area. Our hotel loaned us a biking map (even though we were in the car) so that we could find the really off the beaten track places. Visit:

There are always loads of bikes in the city too. A nice, short (4km) trip would be down the Hellbrunner Allee to Schloss Hellbrunn. The path is treelined and very pleasant, plus there%26#39;s a beautiful 17th century palace to see at the end of it.
