My wife and I will go to vienna from US in fist decade of May
Many museums in Vienna have discount tickets for senior citizens.
But for ALL senior citizens or only for EU senior citizens?
What time of the day is better to visit palaces and museums to avoid long lines?
Thank you

Senior discount is for anyone regardless of residence-
note - you usually do not need to prove age- but could happen- take something to show birth date.
example of discount - Fine Arts museum normal cost 10 euro senior is 7,50.
I would suggest visits to museums in the morning- Palaces such as
Schönbrunn later in the afternoon as many tours seem to be there in the morning.
May is not the biggest tourist month and lines should not be long most places.
Also check evening hours at some museums- most tourists do not realize many are open at least one evening per week. Great time to visit and enjoy.

Thak you very much.
We would like to get several tour on Vienna. Prices for a tour are very high-120-150 Euro. When we were in Rome we have a very good tour agency-Angels and they had about 8-10 people in a group and prices were good and quality was accellent.
Can you recommend a good tour agency that has small group and better price?
Thank you in advance

Vienna has excelent guides, but prices would be in the range you comment on as very high.
Do you really need a guide?
Most major sights in Vienna are in a relatively small area inside or very near to the Ringstrasse ( main circular street that surronds inner city )First District.
Very easy to find your way most places within walking distance of each other.
A good guide book and city map could save you much money to be used on other things.
Many sights have audio guides for rent that allow you to tour at your own time and learn many things.
I would suggest taking the streetcar #1 or #2 on your first day in the city. Both make a circle of the Ringstrasse allowing you to see things and also learn locations of the Hofburg Place, Museum Quarter, Fine Arts Museum, Parlament, State Opersa among many other things.
