Roley,
please help me find a pension in Inner Circle. I know you favor Pertschy or Nossek, but we are 3 adults and a 2 year old, we need a large room with one large bed and a single bed plus a kitchenette or refrigerator, and I think a suite/apt. in these would be well over what I am willing to pay.
The reason I listed these 3 in my previous post: they are all less than 150 Euros/nt.

Of these Pensions, the only one I know is Suzanne, which is recommended highly by other posters to this forum. However, I don%26#39;t know what their %26quot;appartements%26quot; are like, and what equipment comes with them. It would be worth emailing them to ask about that. Of the three, Suzanne is the one I would recommend - it has much the best location and I know people who have stayed there have been happy with it.
Have you considered renting an actual apartment? There are some to be had in the central (first) district at quite reasonable prices. This website has information about some of them:
www.netland.at/wien/apartment-vienna.htm
If you search in 1. Bez. (first district) you%26#39;ll find a number of places that might fit the bill.
I usually travel alone so prefer just a room in a pension. I once planned a group trip (that didn%26#39;t come off) and thought of booking this apartment:

I liked the look of it a lot - good price, roomy, and one of my favourite locations, just off the Schwedenplatz so close to good transport links, a couple of supermartets right to hand (and my favourite cafe, Diglas am Fleischmartk!) and only a 5min stroll to Stefansdom. Maybe that would suit you?
