Train from Innsbruck to Venice

I%26#39;m planning to take a train from Innsbruck to Venice. Please advise which webs I should look at. I%26#39;ve been to several sites and got lost in the end. For the www.bahn.de, it seems like I can%26#39;t get to see a fare price and buy tickets on line. Please advise.

And do you know how much it would approximately be. I don%26#39;t have any railcard as I plan to do only 2 train trips i.e. Innsbruck to Venice and then back.

Thanks a lot in advance!

I would suggest that you search on the Innsbruck forum under trains to Venice- numerous recent reports

Just walk to the station when you are in Innsbruck and get your tickets from the ticket counter.

A 2nd class oneway ticket should be 55 € (seat reservation included).

You can also try to phone the Austrian railways (+43-5-1717) to get %26quot;SparSchiene%26quot; tickets, which are only 29 € oneway (but very limited).

Thanks a lot!

By the way, is there an overnight train? Please advise.

Thanks again.

There are many trains a day, just look in the europe-wide online timetable at http://fahrplan.oebb.at/bin/query.exe/en

From: Innsbruck

To: Venezia S. Lucia

There is a night train (which comes from Munich, but it%26#39;s a bit too short for a night journey).
