I%26#39;ll be visiiting Vienna at the beginning of August with my 75 year old mother who has some trouble walking long distances in the heat. I%26#39;m thinking of Kaiserin Elisabeth or Romischer Kaiser as choices of hotel- I like the distinctive look of Romischer Kaiser. I know both are pretty central, but which would be more convenient for walking to places rather than taking public transport all the time? or any other suggestions?

Both hotels have good locations in the city center and are good choices in my opinion- perhaps the Kaiserin Elisabeth is slightly more central to walk to major sights such as the Hofburg, Stephansdom.
I believe both places have airconditioning- confirm this before booking as past summers have seen some very warm temperatures at various times.
