March in Innsbruck-Glacier Visits

I am taking my two teenage sons to Innsbruck in March. We hope to go tobogganing while we were there if there is still snow. They would like to see a glacier. Does anyone know if it is possible to see the Stubai glaicer or another glacier without paying a skiier%26#39;s rate?

I%26#39;ve been there in the summer, but am not familiar with things in March.

You can catch the tram to Fulpmes and change to the ST bus, or catch the ST bus from the Hauptbahnhof. If the ski bus is running, you can take it as well. You will still need to pay for a pass to use the lifts, but it is possible to catch the gondola up to the top of the mountain. Hope this helps!
