No room at the Inn

Anyone have some advice for a party of 5 looking for Obertauern accommodation from 21st feb (wednesday) leaving 25th feb (sunday).

It always tough trying to find anything that isn%26#39;t a full week booking, sat to sat?

I was just in Obertauern last week for a day of skiing. good snow!

Even in january( low season) many, many people as it now has some of the best skiing - many other places lower lack snow and more people come to Obertauern.

February is high season - many schools are closed for winter holiday - including two nearby states in Austria 2//19- 2/ 24. Thus a big family vacation week.

Hotels do not really want to split up weeks as they lose revunue, especially during this time.

I would contact the Tourist office in Obertauern for their help.

That explains it.....we thought school holidays in Austria were a different week.....@~@#%26amp;....guess we%26#39;ll have to hope somewhere is left and pick it up last minute.

I have been before for a day trip to Obertaurn...was hoping to try the Gamsleiten this year
